Defining your lips with makeup.

It takes a lot to understand how to apply makeup on the different structures of the face but once it is learned, it can be expressed in forms that define these structures.
When applying makeup on the lips, there are three basic things to consider.
-Are your lips too full and do you wanna make them seem smaller.
-Are the lips to small and barely noticeable and do you hope to make them pop out?
-Are the lips less defined than you'd want them to be?

Here are my simple tweaks with lips
Smaller lips to fuller looking lips
-Using a lip pencil, oouline the desired shape and size of the top and bottom lips, working from the outside of the lip line.By doing this, you are increasing the appearance of the lips.
-Now fill in the entire area with the pencil, working lightly. This will create another layer that also helps keep the color on the lips longer and maintains a lookk that is natural for the lip size.
-Finally, fill in the lips with a lip gloss to create a moist plump look.

Fuller to smaller defined lips
-Using a lip pencil in nude shade, outline the size and shape that you'd like to have. This may feel a little strange if you are used to outlining the full circumference of your lips, but don't worry, you'd be thrilled when you see the final result.. The purpose of outlining the lips this way is to give them defination.
-Using a lip brush, apply a lipstick or gloss inside the lip area. Note that too much of either lipstick or gloss will make your lips appear fuller, contracdicting what you are trying to achieve..

Here's how to prevent lipstick from getting on your teeth, Pro tip:
After applying and/or gloss, place your finger into your mouth, wrap your lips around your finger and gently pull it out in a lollipop motion. The excess lipstick on the inside of your lips would end up on your finger instead of your teeth.
