Bridal Makeup Tips
Its that important big day and sincerely, you dont wanna mess things up when it comes to makeup and skin.
There really isnt a perfect makeup job done on you if your skin is the replica of imperfection.
I always tell my bridal clients, you ruin your day if you ruin your skin. Imagine all that life long memorable pictures, ruined cause you were breaking prior to the day or your skin was a mess and makeup wouldnt sit well on your face.
First off, its skin care.
.Ensure you stay outta the sun at least 2weeks to your big day, or if necessary, don't forget your sun screen.
.If you break out a lot, now's the time to stay off all that oils, fast foods, chocolates, fries and chips, roasted chicken, pizza.. every thing you know would make you breakout.
.In that 2weeks prior to the wedding, ensure your eating lots of fruits and vegetables. This would help your skin glow naturally.
.Get a beauty spa facial done to get rid off dirt and oils sitting deep down in the epidermal layer of your skin.
.Stay off alcoholic cleansers if you don't wanna surprise yourself with an early morning bad skin.
.Drink Lots and lots of water.
For makeup, its best to have a makeup artist do the job. You wanna look pretty in pictures and you sure wanna glow. This is what goes on between you and your artist prior to the wedding.
.Consultation: This is basically when the artist meets you to discuss issues from your skin, to your personality, what and what you are comfortable with in makeup, issues relating to your contract in terms of payment and what the artist is gonna be doing for you.
Trial makeup: Here, different modes, colours and ideas are done on you in terms of makeup to choose which fits best. pictures are taken, compared and the best suitable look is decided by you and the artist.
.Tweezing of brows must be done a day before so any sweeling or reactions isnt noticeable on the wedding
.Colours that work are always mild, soft and not too loud.
Makeup should be done after hair, and after the gown has been worn.
.Ensure a robe is draped over the bride so spilling makeup dose'nt ruin the gown.
.don't go overboard, keep it soft, radiant and beautiful.
