How to curl eye lashes

Eye lashes are curled using a lash curler so that the lashes look more defined after mascara is applied.[Image:Bigeyes6_L_597.jpg|thumb|description]

1. Apply eyeshadow and liner before curling your lashes. It would be best to do this first as you would want to use mascara just after lashes are curled.
2. Do't try to curl lashes when they are wet.
3. Place your upper lashes in the firm grip of the lash curler and move the curler close to the eye until it comes to the base of the lashes without touching the skin of the eyelid.
4. Hold the closed curler and pull out slow extending your hand in upward motions as you do. Repeat step for additional volume and lengtg.
5. Do the same on the other eye.

Pro tip: Heat lash curler with a hair dryer for a few seconds, this would help lashes curl easily and have more defination.
